Questions

Good to know

How is “monthly plan remaining” calculated?

PrismWorth compares two amounts: your cash after bills due in the next 30 days, and your unspent budget this month. It shows the smaller one. Some of that amount may still be for upcoming bills, so the app shows every input and you can check the math.

Where is my financial data stored?

Your accounts, transactions, budgets, and goals are stored on your device. If you connect a bank, our server relays data from Plaid to your device and keeps encrypted connection tokens and sync metadata — not your transactions.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. You can explore with sample data or add manual accounts. Bank connections are optional, read-only, and handled through Plaid. PrismWorth never sees your bank login and never moves money.

What's free and what's Premium?

Balances, net worth, transactions, budgets, goals, recurring payments, upcoming bills, and your monthly plan remaining are free. Premium adds Advanced Reports, the cash-flow forecast, Prism insights, Subscription Autopsy, investment details, and widgets.

How does the free trial work?

Eligible new subscribers get 7 days of Premium free on either the monthly or yearly plan. Cancel any time in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

Is there a web version?

It's in development. The web app will use end-to-end encrypted sync, and one Premium subscription will work on your Apple devices and the web. Follow along on our roadmap.

Is PrismWorth financial advice?

No. PrismWorth is an informational personal-finance tool and doesn't provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
